Tivoli Trattoria serves an important purpose, and that purpose is to look like a beach club in Positano and serve reasonably priced Italian food to people who can’t get into Don Angie. In a casual room with a pastel color scheme, basket light fixtures, and billowing fabric hanging from the ceiling, you can get some very decent short rib pappardelle, or a puffy 12-inch pizza topped with soppressata and hot honey. If you’re adventurous, there’s also the golf ball-sized cacio e pepe gnocchi. They’re slightly gimmicky, and pretty delicious, thanks to an abundance of cheese. Most items are in the $20-$25 range, which is reasonable for the area, and the best part is: Reservations are plentiful.
