The Light Restaurant And Bar
Included In
If you’re a fan of good cocktails, cold pints, or landmark buildings with a stellar history of being a Victorian Power Station (electricity is our passion), then you’ll like The Light Bar. Set over three floors, it’s a huge space that somehow still manages to feel intimate thanks to all of the cosy candlelit corners around the edge of the ground floor. That being said, there are plenty of big group tables available and although you might expect your classic pub fare, the menu actually offers up Mediterranean small plates, some decent handmade pasta, and seasonal options like wild turbot. Whether you’re heading here for a martini-fuelled date or booking dinner for 10 hungry colleagues, know that this place is an easy crowd-pleaser and their terrace is an excellent shout in the summer. Just be sure to book ahead as it gets busy.
