Alive and Kicking is a fish market with a few picnic tables that offers a lobster sandwich on two slices of bread instead of a roll (scandalous!)

Shay’s is an Irish pub in Harvard Square that also thinks it’s a wine bar, which is cute.

Moonshine 152 is a great little restaurant in South Boston that serves Asian-ish street food.
Time Out Market
Time Out Market is a giant food hall in Fenway with stalls run by some great Boston restaurants. It’s cool, but be prepared to pay the tourist tax.
Rosebud American Kitchen & Bar
Rosebud is an American spot in Davis Square with a nice bar area and some good pie.
The Burren
The Burren is an Irish Pub in Davis Square with lots of live music and a refreshing paucity of shamrocks on the walls.

Committee is a perfectly OK Greek spot on Fan Pier that has a fun outdoor bar in the summer.
