If you’ve ever eaten at the original Iki Ramen in Koreatown, you know to expect chaotic parking and solid noodle bowls and sushi in a somewhat cramped space. Well, in terms of setting, their new location in Hollywood is a pleasant upgrade. Street parking is a breeze with a bunch of metered spots right out front and the airy, high-ceiling dining room has ample tables overlooking Western Ave. There’s a back-lit bar that’s stocked with sake, shochu, and Japanese beer. As for the ramen? It’s as solid as ever. We particularly love the yuzu shio bowl, made with a light chicken broth laced with citrus zest. They’ve also got a very extensive selection of sashimi, rolls, and seafood donburi that deserve your time and attention.
