Cobble Hill Coffee Shop
Included In
Some people come to Cobble Hill Coffee Shop every week for breakfast, to swap the names of hairdressers with their server, who knows a guy who’s really good. The Court Street diner (which used to be called The Donut House) has chrome stools, a freshly-squeezed orange juice machine, and decor that includes a bike hanging on the wall, and a clock made out of a frying pan.
On a Friday morning, there will be multiple high-chairs with kids in them, bathing french toast in maple syrup—the real Canadian stuff, which is worth the extra $2.50. The food, as one should expect from a diner, is wonderfully average. But if you live in the area, this could become your regular spot for eggs and home fries, or chocolate chip pancakes. And also maybe a dentist recommendation.
